Of course, clients of Fundamental Analytics and BlackSummit Financial Group will continue receiving our weekly content for free.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EIA Insights January 17, 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Natural Gas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Withdrawal Less Than Expectations<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u00a0The EIA reported an 81 Bcf withdrawal for the week ending January 11, 2019. The withdrawal was again one of the smallest for this week of the <g class=\"gr_ gr_23 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"23\" data-gr-id=\"23\">year,<\/g> and less than the average of expectations of an 88 <g class=\"gr_ gr_17 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling\" id=\"17\" data-gr-id=\"17\">bcf<\/g> withdrawal. Storage at 2,533 Bcf is only 51 Bcf less than last year at this time.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report was bearish to prices. Before the release of the <g class=\"gr_ gr_18 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"18\" data-gr-id=\"18\">report<\/g> prices were up about 15 cents but fell after the release. By the end of the <g class=\"gr_ gr_19 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"19\" data-gr-id=\"19\">trading<\/g> day prices were basically unchanged near $3.39 per MMBtu.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prices have been supported by forecasts for colder weather in the next few weeks. Earlier in the month with the milder winter weather prices were trading below $3.00. With recent forecasts of prolonged colder <g class=\"gr_ gr_14 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"14\" data-gr-id=\"14\">weather<\/g> the market is bullish and prices are in the $3.40 to $3.50 range.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mild weather and production growth have contributed to the seasonally low withdrawals and the reduction in the storage deficit. Despite these bearish factors the market is concerned about the storage level <g class=\"gr_ gr_8 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace\" id=\"8\" data-gr-id=\"8\">given<\/g> the current forecasts. We expect the price volatility to remain and price movements reflecting the changes in the weather forecasts<g class=\"gr_ gr_15 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Style replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"15\" data-gr-id=\"15\">.<\/g><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><g class=\"gr_ gr_15 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Style replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"15\" data-gr-id=\"15\">We<\/g> would be happy to discuss this commentary with you and provide additional market insights.
